Developmental Disabilities

Program Overview

The Clallam County Developmental Disabilities program offers a wide range of resources and supports designed to improve the quality of life for children and adults who experience intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (IDD). We work alongside individuals and their families to help them live meaningful, inclusive, and engaged lives within the Clallam County community.

Clallam County partners with Washington State Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) and Developmental Disabilities Community Services (DDCS), formerly known as Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) to deliver a variety of supports through partnerships with local service providers. To learn more about available programs and services, community members are encouraged to attend a Developmental Disabilities Advisory Committee (DDAC) meeting.
