How to Find your Tax Area
There are many ways to locate this information, below are the 3 most common:
Annual Tax Statement:
Your tax area can be found under the Tax Area column of your annual tax statement. This statement is what is received annually between February & March, and it comes from our Printer.
PACs Tax Statement:
Your tax area can be found in the Tax Area Code on any PACs statement you receive. These statements are printed in-house. You may receive a statement on:
GREEN paper - This signifies an ownership change or transfer, such as you purchased a property after the original bill was mailed by the Printer, or you placed your property in a Trust changing the ownership. These are sent whenever a change is made.
YELLOW paper - This signifies a change in the assessment of your property. You could experience this if you speak with the Assessor's office and are added or removed from the Senior/Disabled exemption program, or your assessed value changes due to the loss of structure in a fire (destroyed property), or have a boundary line adjustment. We typically use yellow paper to print duplicate statements as well.
PINK paper - This signifies an outstanding balance.
Assessor's / Treasurer's Property Search page :
You can locate your Tax Area by clicking on the 'Property Search' link on the left hand side of this page. When you enter your search criteria, your property will display on a single line. You are able to easily see your Tax Area in the space below.
