Dungeness Landing County Park was transferred from the Port of Port Angeles to the County in 2001. This 5.6-acre beauty, with 13 acres of tideland, is sprawled along the outer Dungeness Bay. A full-service restroom is a welcomed feature of the park.
Six miles north of Sequim, on Sequim-Dungeness Avenue, turn right onto Marine Drive. Oyster House Road veers to the right as you begin to see the water and you drop down to the water's edge.
Activities
The Dungeness Lighthouse, located across the bay, makes this park a picturesque setting to place your easel. The high water boat launch is a big draw to this park, as is the covered birding platform with easy access, that allows birders to add new species to their life list.
